welcome to ACA of Orange County

ACA is a 12 Step / 12 Tradition program of recovery dedicated to people who were raised in dysfunctional families. ACA does not seek to assign blame to parents or caretakers, but we seek to understand the reality of how family dysfunctions affected us as children and still affects our adult behavior today.

ACA works with some very informative literature from Pamphlets to our Red Book and Yellow Workbook. Please speak to your literature person at your meeting or please look back on this website for more information on ordering.

Meetings are one of the core processes we use in ACA to recovery from our own dysfunction.

There are many meetings in Orange County. Please click here to go to the meeting page which lists all of our meetings. This page also has links to other ACA Regions in the country and the world.

ACA of Orange County puts on Events for our ACA Community. At these events our ACA Community gathers to hear speakers, working on issues, food, and fun. Come visit this site often for more information on the events coming up.

“The purpose of service in ACA is to support one another in becoming responsible for our own well-being.”

“Our feelings of self-worth and adequacy start to grow as we successfully re-parent ourselves, and we begin to trust our ability to love and serve others."

WSO is the World Service Organization of Adult Children of Alcoholics. It acts as the central agency of the program, gathering and disseminating meeting information;creating and distributing literature for use in the Family Groups and provides information to the general public.
